What is the changeSPMS E-club?
c.h.a.n.g.e. = Caring, Happy Adolescents Need a Green Earth Hello everyone! We are the enviromental club at SPMS, and we are making things change around our school! We are middle school students, grades 6 - 8, who want to help our planet and our community. Everyone knows about Mrs.Patterson's / Ms. Bertolina's homeroom recycling club! The homeroom recycling club picks out recyclable material from the garbage containers on the quad. They sort them into plastic, aluminum and glass. Once a week, some wonderful people from the Los Angeles Conservation Corps (LACC) comes by to pick them up. Our school gets money back from this program, which goes to help student activities. To be in the Recycling Club, you have to be lucky enough to be in 8th grade and have requested Mrs. Bertolina's homeroom. But ANYONE can join the Environmental Club! GET READY TO RECYCLE!
